Job Description

Voluntary Action Harrow is looking for a Grant Monitoring and Evaluation Manager.

This role involves developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks for both internally and externally managed programmes. Responsibilities include managing data collection, building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, and contributing to training and capacity-building initiatives within the team.

Responsibilities

  • To create monitoring and evaluation frameworks for internally and externally managed programmes
  • To receive monitoring information from funded organisations and create reports/presentations as needed
  • To set up processes for VCS organisations to feed in issues they or their clients are facing
  • Offer tailored training, one-on-one guidance, and practical data-gathering tools to support VCS organisations in completing monitoring and evaluation. This approach empowers participants, enhancing their confidence, knowledge, and expertise to conduct impactful evaluations.
  • To manage the Harrow Giving grants customer relationship management (CRM) (Salesforce)


Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including residents, voluntary, community and faith sector organisations, social enterprises, local NHS services, and statutory sector partners.
  • Support other staff and volunteers in delivering training if and as required.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of internal training when required.
  • Maintain and update records on our database.

  • Experienced in using databases (our system is Salesforce)
  • Strong ICT skills (Including Teams and Zoom), with adaptability to new systems and tools.

Who are we?

Voluntary Action Harrow Co-operative work with the local community providing information, training and guidance.

Based in Harrow, we are a not-for-profit co-operative owned by our workers. We have in-depth knowledge of the local area and of who’s doing what.

We manage Harrow Together an independent charity with no staff. Harrow Together provides opportunities for Harrow organisations to work in partnership to secure larger contracts and well as administering grants through Harrow Giving.

Support available to the successful candidate

You will be working within the Voluntary Action Harrow, Third Sector Service Team, who hold a huge amount of knowledge, monitoring templates and have good relationships with charities and community groups across Harrow.
